Kleinhoekkloof Wines is a winery in Ashton offering handcrafted wines and artisanal charcuterie. We welcome guests by appointment for wine tastings paired with our handmade charcuterie, featuring sustainably sourced local meat. We are a family-owned boutique wine farm safely ensconced within the Langeberg Mountain range. Our wines are created from fruit sourced from tiny vineyard plots, and we also offer a unique charcuterie platter with fresh ciabatta, homemade green figs, olives, quince jelly, and apricot chutney.

Zandvliet Wine Estate is a winery in Ashton. We offer curated wine tastings and seasonal pairings at our Kalkveld Lounge, set in a historic estate environment. We are known as the home of Shiraz in South Africa, having bottled this cultivar since the 1870s. Our team produces handcrafted and cellar-matured wines, including our Zandvliet Estate Shiraz, Syrah Rosé, and Kalkveld Shiraz. We invite guests to stroll through our vineyards and enjoy the farm's quiet beauty.

Excelsior Wine Estate is a family-run farm just outside Ashton in the Robertson Wine Valley, farmed by the De Wet family since the 1850s. The estate is known for approachable, well-priced reds, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, alongside crisp Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Visitors can taste in the relaxed tasting room overlooking the vineyards and dam, try their hand at blending their own wine, and stop for a light lunch on the deck. It's an easy stop on Route 62 and a laid-back way to sample the valley's character.
