Where to Stay in Red Cliff

Point Detour Campground is a wilderness campground in Red Cliff located on an overlook of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. We offer rustic camping and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with check-in at the Legendary Waters Resort & Casino Hotel Front Desk. Our campsites feature stone pits and picnic tables. While there is no swimming access directly from the campground, guests can get their feet in the water at the lakefront via a downhill path with a rope for assistance. We provide pit toilets for convenience. Wood for fires can be purchased in nearby towns such as Bayfield and Herbster.

Buffalo Bay Campground/Marina is a campground in Red Cliff, Wisconsin. We offer tent sites tucked in the woods and RV spots, some with direct Lake Superior views. Our facilities include an RV dump station on site and bathrooms and showers inside the adjacent casino/hotel.
