This is a really nice campsite for tent camping. The tent sites are tucked in the woods past the RV spots. We felt very removed from the casino and RV spots, even though they were right there. The sites are right on the lake, offering some great views of Lake Superior. Bugs: we had a few mosquitoes at our site, but the lake breeze kept most of them away. Showers: they have nice showers/bathrooms connected to the hotel. They were clean and kept in good condition. Sites: we stayed at site 37, which I think had the best view of the lake. There is also a small trail that went down to the shoreline. The tent spots are hard dirt with some rocks, so keep that in mind. We loved our time here and would definitely camp here again!

Beautiful views of Lake Superior from not just the lakefront sites, but some in the back, too. Peaceful out of town setting with access to Bayfield and fruit orchards easy. Bathrooms in casino nice and clean. Staff at the desk was helpful. Campground is not "upscale", waterfront sites are tight, sites are grass, picnic tables tired, ours had trash leftover from the last campers. Minor things easily overlooked by the setting and beauty. Definitely a return.

Very nice RV campground - incredible views of Lake Superior. There is an RV dump station on site. The RV sites are pretty tight with no trees or privacy in between. Sites 13 and 15 are the best sites at the campground for privacy. The port-a-potties were very clean and well maintained. There is a very nice bathroom and shower available for use inside the casino/hotel next door.

We have a camping van and prefer to freelance camp when we travel. This is the perfect spot to do so! The campground is run by the Native Americans and is located right next to their casino. It is perfect if you don’t like making reservations in advance and prefer to be able to stop in and see if there are any sites available. It is Located right on Lake superior and has sites with gorgeous views.

Buffalo Bay Marina is by far the best spot to have a boat at the Apostle Islands! The proximity and amenities like a restaurant, pool and hot tub are just some of the reasons I love it here. The staff is always doing there best to make this little piece of paradise spectacular!
