Lake Michigan park with beach, beer garden, and downtown views
Wonderful place for picnics, walks, small beach, food, pavilion, playground, biking, jogging - it really has it all! The downside is the community isn't the most respectful of keeping it clean, but the county workers do their best!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a peaceful spot right on the water. Beautiful views, plenty of green space, and the perfect place to slow down and relax. Whether you're here for a walk or just to sit and enjoy the scenery, South Shore Park never disappoints. A true gem!
Renovated park and beach is excellent. Now if people would just stop littering
South Shore Park: Located on the southside of Milwaukee directly on Lake Michigan, the park boasts a biergarten, pavilion (that can be rented for weddings and other events), stunning views of the lake, and a large playground (I didn't include a picture because I didn't want to post something with people's kids in it).
Place is awesome because of the community. Friendly people all enjoying a good time. Farmers market is great, beer garden is decent. I hope continued renovations occur to make it even better as the water front could use a little work to make this really something special.
