We've been coming to Empower Yoga third ward for more than a year - no I'm moving away from Milwaukee and I will miss it dearly. All instructors are amazing! My faves are Lisa, Kathy, Heather, Alicia, Chris, Daneil and all others! I wish I could bring Empower with me. Keep up the amazing job and vibes!
Wonderful yoga studio. The price is excellent and in my experience, infrared heat is somewhere between traditional hot yoga and unheated, which is perfect for me. The Third Ward studio is a beautiful high-ceilinged room with windows, and the Wauwatosa studio is nice because it has a parking lot. Every instructor I've had has been great. It feels very inclusive of different abilities, ages and body types, and there's no competitive vibe. Highly recommend!
Hot yoga with Korisa has changed my life. I was completely new to yoga and she is descriptive enough to learn the moves, while also challenging enough for a great workout no matter what your experience level is. I look forward to every Sunday.
I took a hot yoga class here for the first time (second time doing hot yoga) and the environment was super welcoming. The instructor gives options for all levels for all moves which means you can adjust everything to your own body. The price is extremely reasonable compared to other yoga places in Milwaukee and the temperature was perfect.
I was in town for a couple of days and wanted to find a heated yoga studio where I could move through a good flow, and Empower Yoga was a great find. The heat level was perfect and the space felt welcoming right away. Kathy was the instructor and led a beautiful, well-paced class. I’ll definitely return when I’m back in the area. The only thing that took me out of my practice a bit was some late arrivals and people stepping in and out of the room or leaving early. I understand things happen, but it can be a little distracting during class. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the experience.
