About

Founded in Madison, Wisconsin, in 2001 by Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee and harmonica player Joe Nosek, The Cash Box Kings bring the raw, rollicking spirit of classic Chicago blues to modern audiences. Their sound blends 1950s and 1960s post-war electric blues with early R&B, jump blues, retro soul, and Sun Records-era rockabilly. Over more than two decades, the band has released eleven albums, earned 25 Blues Music Award nominations, and topped the Billboard Blues, Living Blues Radio, and SiriusXM B.B. King's Bluesville charts. They have toured internationally and headlined major venues and festivals across the United States and Europe. The lineup features vocalist Cameron Webb and harmonica player Joe Nosek alongside keyboardist Lee Kanehira, bassist John W. Lauler, guitarists Billy Flynn and Andrew Diehl, and drummers Derek Hendrickson and Kenny "Beedy Eyes" Smith.
