Bristol Essentials

Bristol Arc is a non-profit organization in Bristol helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities maximize their independence and inclusion. We provide Work in Community Programs, Non-Vocational Services, and a Residential Program. We also offer training opportunities at BARC, advocate for personal growth, and have individuals create original pieces and wholesome dog treats. Our team also provides mowing and yard cleanup services for commercial and residential customers.

Hand To Hand Direct Care Ministry, Inc is a non-profit organization in Bristol. We provide free furniture, household items, clothing, and Christian-based spiritual guidance to those in need in the Bristol area. Our team accepts donations of various household goods, operating Tuesday through Saturday.

Brian's Angels Homeless Outreach is a community outreach organization in Bristol dedicated to helping the community. Our entrance is located off Center Street Rear, towards the back of the church, through two red doors.

Bristol CERT is a non-profit organization in Bristol. We are comprised of volunteer citizens trained in basic life safety and emergency preparedness skills to provide rapid and safe care for our residents and support to the citys emergency personnel. Our team focuses on Shelter Administration, Ham radio Communications, and public education for home emergency preparedness, serving Bristol and Central Connecticut.

Bristol Adult Resource Center is a non-profit organization in Bristol dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve independence and community inclusion. Our programs include residential services, community employment, and non-vocational support. We offer training opportunities at BARC, advocate for personal growth, and provide a lawn program that includes mowing, yard -up, and related services for commercial and residential customers. We also create original pieces designed and created by the individuals we serve, and offer wholesome dog treats made by them. Lunch is available Monday through Friday from 11:30 a. m. to 2 p. m.
