About

Bristol Adult Resource Center is a non-profit organization in Bristol dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve independence and community inclusion. Our programs include residential services, community employment, and non-vocational support. We offer training opportunities at BARC, advocate for personal growth, and provide a lawn program that includes mowing, yard -up, and related services for commercial and residential customers. We also create original pieces designed and created by the individuals we serve, and offer wholesome dog treats made by them. Lunch is available Monday through Friday from 11:30 a. m. to 2 p. m.

I like their and CW Resources mission to help individuals with Intellectual Disability. It is heartbreaking that the State of Connecticut is basically forcing these workshop/ Day Programs to close programs that are so meaningful to the Intellectually Disable population.
