This is a great park if you are looking for a nice walking path with a stroller or a nice hike on the Ice Age Trail. I've also done photography sessions here before for some of my clients and it was great!

We hiked to the West bend ice age trail segment and back. It was about 5 miles and in early January the ground was frozen with some flurries. The trail is wide and well marked. Footing was good. The trail was very clean, not trash to spoil the view. This is a nice park with tons of parking and some seasonal amenities besides just hiking. Some views of water and lots of barren trees. The trail had a decent bit of traffic, we saw about 12 other hikers and 5 to 6 dogs.
Show moreIce Age Trail West Bend. This is a great spot for families, kids, and parties. Large parking lot with modern restrooms. This spot has several picnic areas with roof including BBQ grills and even a large bonfire area. This also has a party cabin and large playground. This trail leads to the gorgeous scenic lily ponds and lakes connected to Silver Creek. Recommend walking this trail to Ridge Run Park East. Note: see my reviews and photos from Ice Age Trail West Bend on Paradise Drive (South end of trail) and Ridge Run Park Central (not far from Ridge Run Park East).
