One of West Bends most popular parks! Beautiful trails, large playground, shelters and plenty of parking. Also connects to the Ice Age Trail!

Ridge Run County Park is fantastic. I do plenty of bird watching and trail hiking here! There are no truly 'difficult' trails, but the entrance to the trail surrounding Boot Lake from the primary entrance is a bit steep! Anyways, there are barred owl, cardinals, robins, swallows, sparrows, and plenty more. Oftentimes, there are a handful of mallards in Boot Lake. There is a fantastic area leading to the Silver Creek area along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Overall, this is an extremely clean park with low traffic on weekdays and moderate on weekends. Definitely a family friendly environment, so bring the kids!

One of my favorite parks, and I just visited this park for the first time.

My son and I hiked in from a back trail while visiting my daughter in Wisconsin. We didn't know what a beautiful park we were about to find. From the back trail, we found a soccer field first. Then we saw a small playground. Then we found the lake. Really a great surprise on our short walk.
