Used the park to drop my kayak into the Milwaukee river. Nice, simple launch. Launched without touching the water.

This is a nice spot to stop for a snack or lunch while paddling the West Bend to Newburg stretch of the Milwaukee River. It is challenging to land or launch boats here, however. The facilities are nice, and it's nice to have a picnic table to eat. This is also a nice spot to enter the river to do some wading while fishing for smallmouth.
