Last night we experienced the 4-Course Italian Journey and wow… every course somehow topped the one before it. From the presentation to the flavors, the attention to detail was next level. This wasn’t just dinner—it was an experience. Every bite tasted like it belonged in Italy. If you’re looking for a date night, celebrating something special, or simply love incredible food, this belongs at the top of your Wisconsin dining list. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend.
We went here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a wonderful experience! The food was amazing, the staff was very attentive, and the outdoor patio had a beautiful, charming, and romantic atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

My first time trying this place was with a 9PM reservation for the best of Bartolotta menu. I’m going to be honest - I did not have a good experience and was confused by why everyone loves it. And then I tried it again, and I’m *so happy* that I did. They’re amazing and 100% earn the reputation. I’ve been here twice more and both times have been excellent. The service is exceptional and so is the food. I love that every time I come, I get to try a new region of Italy. Their dishes are always things I’ve never tried before or have rarely seen, and they really prioritize quality ingredients. I’m not going to comment on specific dishes because part of the joy of this place is that you get to try something new every time. If you’re vegetarian and you don’t see many options - don’t let that deter you. They’re really flexible and were happy to accommodate me. I’m so excited to come back again!
It has been about seven years since my last visit to Ristorante Bartolotta, and the evolution of their concept is impressive. They now feature a rotating regional menu that changes a few times a year, focusing on the authentic flavors of a specific Italian province. The current format is a four-course prix-fixe ($75) consisting of an appetizer, entrée, main, and dessert, with a few premium upgrades available. As expected from the Bartolotta group, the execution was flawless. Every dish served at our table was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It’s wonderful to see them maintaining such high standards after all these years.
