Sandwiches and appetizers were very good. The soups need a lot of work - clam chowder was more of a pepper pot soup. Did not look or taste like clam chowder. The French onion soup had no broth. Chocolate flourless cake was good.

What a fantastic eatery in a super cute Bavarian village type setting with cobble stone streets, twinkle lights, lots of beautiful flowers/plants, a river & of course the beautiful buildings. The setting is marvelous & the food is absolutely devine! I had the 21 day dry aged Buckatabon burger - fully loaded with flavor & stacked with goodness like black garlic ketchup, gruyre, roasted mushrooms, dijon, caramelized onions & bacon. My Mom had the super club wedge salad with chicken. She loved the deliciousness of it. Large servings too. Our waiter, Dayton, was fabulous! So welcoming & charming. It was our 1st time in the area so he gave us the scoop on this charming town & restraunt. We greatly appreciated the insight. We sat on the outside patio street side as it's super gorgeous with tons of flowers & plants separating each seating area making them cozy & private, plus all shaded. The patio wraps around the side of the building too with more open, umbrella shaded seating & views of the river. Inside is is super cool! Super club vibe done awesomely. Seriously you'll just want to wander all over inside to soak everything in. Neat touch was the loon calls in the bathroom.

Decided on the spot for the location and views next to the river. So lucky of us to find this place. Food was sooo good, great drinks and Dayton is probably the best server I have ever had. So amazing

First timer here. Mercedes was our server and was very attentive throughout our whole experience. Food and drinks were good and tasty. Let us bring a cake in for a birthday celebration. That was very kind. Overall a great place with hard working staff. The ambiance was perfect for a Sunday.

What a great place. The service the food the atmosphere were amazing. We had so much fun. We planed to go for a quick dinner at the bar. We had such a fun time talking with the bartenders and other guests around us we ended up staying 3.5 hours. The atmosphere is very cool. Made to look like a supper club from up north Wisconsin. Everywhere you look there is some fun decor. We drinks were top notch. I had a whiskey old fashioned and it was perfect. My wife had a Bloody Mary that was very good as well. We loved all the menu items. So many great options. It took us a half an hour to decide what we wanted. We started with the deviled eggs and a bowl of the wild rice clam chowder. Both were delicious. We shared a chicken schnitzel. It was equally as good, nothing left on our plates. I highly recommend the Buckatabon. I can’t say enough about the service. I will add the only down side is the parking. We had to drive around a bit to find a spot. Can’t wait to go back.
