A restored 1802 federal-style farmhouse bed and breakfast
A friend and I stayed here while attending a n art workshop. What a great experience. Comfortable beds, air conditioning worked great on a hot summer day, breakfast was excellent. We brought food from a local grocery and ate at the inn, which made for a more relaxed visit. The innkeeper is a delight and the common areas including outdoors are very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
This b&b was so charming. The room was very well kept and had a private bathroom and we especially loved the decor of the living areas. It was well thought out and visually pleasing and calming. Brad the owner was so helpful with suggesting places to eat around the area and Laura the innkeeper made the best breakfasts that were included with our stay. She was very attentive to our needs and even added a nice touch of complimentary champagne for our anniversary. So thoughtful!! We highly recommend this b&b!! The area was so cute with cute towns nearby to explore. And antique shops especially!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
Absolutely loved our brief stay at Wilder House and will likely plan a trip just to enjoy it more! Arrived late for a concert and left the following morning. After a long day of travel, the effortless check in and comfortable rooms made us feel at home immediately. Laura is extremely friendly and accommodating and made a lovely breakfast for us in the morning which really started our travel day back home on a great foot. Looking forward to coming back! Wilder House couldn't have been more perfect for my one-night stay. I had needed to change my itinerary and shift my reservation to the day before, and Brad couldn't have been more accommodating. Parking and check-in were easy. I loved my beautiful comfortable room (especially the wallpaper!). I was traveling with a friend and we made great use of the wonderfully decorated game room and living room for our cocktail hour. The next morning I really appreciated the 24-hour coffee service. And finally, Brad whipped up a gorgeous delicious breakfast before we had to leave. All in all, perfect! I'll definitely be back. Thank you Brad and Laura!
My sister and I stayed at Wilder House in the family room, which had a king bed, a twin, a comfortable seating area, and a huge bathroom. We also loved having our own private porch with rocking chairs—it was such a nice spot to relax. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with really nice linens, and the shower was spacious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The common areas were cozy and inviting, and I found myself really enjoying spending time there. I also appreciated the little touches like the complimentary bananas and the coffee and tea station, which had a lovely selection of teas. There were also snacks and drinks available for purchase on the honor system, which was a nice, easy setup. Laura, the innkeeper, was a sweetheart and makes a perfect frittata. We had a great time chatting with her our first morning, and the owner, Brad, was just as enjoyable to talk with the next day. Overall, I can’t say enough about what a perfect spot this was—especially as a base for hiking. Everything about our stay just felt easy and well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
