Bird Banding Demonstration in Glendale

On October 8, you can attend a Bird Banding Demonstration at the Indian Prairie Tribute Planting in Glendale, presented by MAS and Riveredge. A federally permitted Master Bird Bander will lead this event, where wild migratory birds are safely captured, banded, studied, and then released. You can learn what this process reveals about their journeys, populations, and habitats; stop by any time between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. This program is for ages 16 and up, and if the weather is unfavorable, a rain date is set for Friday, October 9.
