About

Clearview Supper Club is a fine dining restaurant in Saint Germain, Wisconsin. We welcome guests to our nostalgic Northwoods lodge, established in 1918, where we offer a menu featuring steaks, ribs, and seafood. Our selection includes walleye, scallops, and crab chowder, alongside dishes like portabella mushroom with quinoa and citrus chicken. We provide a full bar with classic drinks such as Old Fashioneds and martinis. Guests can enjoy our wood interior and bar area while overlooking Big St. Germain Lake. Our menu also features appetizers like beer-battered onion rings, Wisconsin cheese curds, and bacon-wrapped water chestnuts. We also offer baked potatoes, au gratin, and various soups and desserts.

We were there on a busy summer night for Friday fish fry. It's first come, frst served, and we'd been warned we might need to wait an hour. But even with a 3 and 5 year old, the win-a-duck game and root beer, along with some adult drinks from the bar, passed the time easily. And then Vicki, our waitress, made the night. Despite being extremely busy, she knealt down to talk with the kids, took their orders, brought them chocolate milk. She was nothing short of amazing. We had a variety of fish and chicken dishes and everything was delicious. Hope that if they change hands, the new owners can keep that food and service!

Wonderful WI northwoods restaurant! Our server was more than accommodating, food was hot and fresh! The crab chowder and walleye were fantastic!

Quintessential N Wisco supper club, done really well for 105 years. Ol' Fashioneds, steaks, ribs, seafood, and more. Great atmosphere, wood interior and bar. Great service which is saying a lot post-COVID and in a small town with a limited labor pool. Seven of us enjoyed the experience, vibes, and food. The cognac steak sauce is just a shot of cognac warmed up, not a reduction or cream sauce which would be much better. But we loved our steaks, scallops, ribs, ravioli, baked potatos, au gratin, soups, and desserts. Will definitely come back here every time we come up north.

Staff was all excellent. Friendly and efficient. Portabella mushroom with quinoa was excellent as was citrus chicken. Tomato bisque soup had excellent flavor. Martini was great. Old fashioned was pretty good, that's why we went with four stars instead of five. We will be back to try more of this great menu and to enjoy the friendly staff.

When in Wisconsin, it's only natural to try a supper club or two. This was our first time at Clearview and it certainly won't be our last. The look and feel is traditional, vintage, and historic, with great food and drinks. One of the house specialties is the Beef Tenderloin and Ravioli. While I wasn't sure about mixing premium beef with pasta, I am glad I ordered it due in part to the delicious sauce.
