Beautiful gardens with amazing stone work. Interesting story behind the making of Grotto Gardens w/pictures & a video inside the lobby. Plants & flowers are named in the gardens, religious statues & the Wonder Cave is fantastic. Cute gift shop w/crosses, plaques, jewelry, rosaryies, trinkets, Holy water, figurines & a separate room w/displays pertaining to the Grotto, China butterdishes, cake dishes, & beautiful cheese dishes & cutting boards. Winding paths that are all gravel, quite a few steps that aren't wheelchair accessible. Wonderful little chapel at the end of a high cement bridge. My favorite spot is a huge rock that has an area of rock gateways to walk under & thru with a beautifully tones large windshield high in the trees! Plenty of benches & tables to rest or picnic tables to enjoy a lunch so bring one with!! Peaceful, serene & naturally gorgeous. It all started in a field where the first tre was planred in a promise to build something spectacular for Mary....

One of the best grottos we have visited. The amount of detail and the brilliance of it is astounding. Even if you aren't religious you can find this small walk interesting and beautiful. Make sure to check out the cave... how they made that is still a mystery.

The gardens here are absolutely beautiful. Of course my favorite is the life size garden of Gesemene inside the cove. The journey leading up to it is one to remember as well. The story behind how one priest's inspiration sparked a whole community to contribute to such a timeless work of art is mind blowing. I feel honored to have somting so special so close to me.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The ladies working in the gift shop were just the sweetest! There is so much to see that you should plan for a few hours visit. You will need the ability to go up/ down stairs and bend to go through the cave.
