My wife and I have been in Wisconsin for several months now we have dined out many times, dis-satisfied most of the time. Sunday night we went to Schaumburg’s This by far is one oof the best meals we’ve had in a long. The food was excellent. The drinks were excellent. Will be back! Alaskalouie

My companion and I were in need of a meal and the notion of a supper club seemed to appeal. A quick search found this treasure. Tucked away down a short drive on the edge of a lake is this mid-19th century manor house turned dining establishment, the Schaumberg dinner club was right up our alley. Old school vibes, in an utmost classy way, with every step through the building. The menu has a good variety, with rotating specials. Everything was good. We both agreed that this is a place we will have to return to, and explore the menu. I look forward to a friday fish fry some day! Portions are pretty generous, you may well go home with left overs. Payment is cash or cheque only, but there is and ATM in the bar area, if you have not made a withdrawal lately.

Great WI supper club. 4 of us stopped in for an early Fri dinner and the parking lot was full with people waiting for it to open, so make a reservation. We waited for our table at the bar while our bar tender served so very tasty old fashioneds. Table had a cracker and relish tray plus warm rye bread. Steak was good, blue gill was good, all you can eat cod was good, adult ice cream drinks were very good. Order the French onion soup. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Wish they had a salad bar but they seem more rare on the supper club scene these days.
