This was the perfect wedding venue. Working with Jeff was a breeze right from the beginning. Whether it be working with him or the coordinator, Jessica, everything I asked was answered quickly. This is an amazing property and I keep hearing from my guests about how beautiful the whole venue was. We had a beautiful fall weekend and got to utilize a great mix of both the indoor barn and outdoor silos. We had Andrew as our bartender and he was a fantastic help and won our guests over quick. We had such a beautiful wedding weekend here. Would highly recommend checking this place out for your wedding.

Our story of choosing Blue Barn as our wedding venue is a little uncommon I'm sure.... we actually had another wedding venue already locked down when we stumbled upon The Blue Barn while looking at Airbnbs in the area. We were instantly impressed by the gallery and knew this was the place we wanted to get married. We called Jeff, the owner, that day and had plans to tour the venue the following week. A few weeks later, we ended our previous contract and dove headfirst into planning our wedding at Blue Barn on the Green.
From our first visit with Jeff, we could tell how dedicated and motivated he was to have every event at the Blue Barn be a success. He was incredibly accommodating throughout the process, which was what stood out to us most and what we will thank him for endlessly! We had toured a lot of venues where we felt pigeon holed to accept a package that didn't match everything we were looking for. Jeff and The Blue Barn allowed us to check everything off our "want" list:
- multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to hang out that weren't JUST the dancefloor (this venue has an outdoor built-in fire pit, a pond with row boats, ample yard space for yard games, multiple seating areas where guests can still feel connected to the event without music blasting in their ears on the dance floor, an upstairs landing in the barn with couches, a dart board, another bar, and Golden Tee, a room with slot machines, a sand volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and so much more!)
- the ability to have food trucks cater our wedding
- enough space for at least 20 people to stay overnight
- no strict start and end times (we stayed on site from Thursday to Monday)
- and the flexibility to bring in a lot of our own vendors as we needed
Although we're biased, we've never seen a wedding venue quite like this one. SOOOOO many guests came up and gave us compliments about the space, Jeff, the bartenders, and wanted to know how we stumbled across this hidden gem.
If you're looking for a space to make your wedding truly your own, look no further. Blue Barn on the Green will not disappoint!

Show moreBeautiful location to have a private country side venue in Wisconsin. Near Lake Michigan and places to walk around and feel like you are in a magical little place. The brides room could use more electrical outlets and places to hang dresses, etc.
My husband and I got married here on 7/19/25 and this venue couldn't have been more perfect. We chose the 2 night package which was amazing because we set up everything the night before, and had plenty of time the morning after to clean up. The entire property is STUNNING and way more elevated than a traditional "barn wedding" feel. We saved money on decorations because the venue is already beautiful with the pond, flowers, trees, and string lights. Jeff (owner) and Jessica (coordinator) were both so delightful and incredibly easy to work with, flexible, and were so responsive via text and email. It is obvious they both really enjoy their job and care about the clients who book. I truly don't have a single criticism of our experience!
