A lovely state park in the middle of the beautiful rolling hills. The parking is convenient and trails are fairly maintained. There were ample camp bathrooms as well.
Very cool state park. I dropped by for a few hours and hiked the Old Settler's Trail. I loved walking under the tree canopies. It was a workout too since the beginning of the trail took me down so I had to walk up toward the end. I wish I could've stayed for longer and done the whole camping thing. Many families were enjoying the park for Memorial Day weekend.
Perfect park for a day trip or a short camp trip. Camp sites are clean and accessible, with wood available at the park. There are a variety of trails for all skill levels. A must stop if your in the area!
Currently on a beautiful hike with a friend and the views are just amazing. So much to see here! We are on Old Settlers Trail and wow, just wow. Definitely a must visit State Park!
