Fantastic experience!! We've used Mr. Duck, Titanic and now KWA. KWA is the best so far. Clean facility. We loved the service. Owner is super nice. Swapped out kayaks for canoe with no issues. Helped us to get in the river. After the trip they picked us up within 5 minutes of arrival.

KWA is amazing. I grew up in Ontario and wanted to come back and canoe the river with my husband, kiddos and parents. I know the owner from way back :-) and it was so lovely to connect again and see his business thriving. First of all, the website for booking as well as customer service line is top notch. And the canoes with backrests (whoa, didn't have that when I was a kid!) were incredible. My parents are now in their 70's and because of the comfort on the canoe they were able to paddle for over 4 hours with ease. As an aside, we have Verizon as a cell phone carrier and in the Kickapoo area the reception is spotty - but that was of no concern as the staff just mapped out a time and location for pick-up, while giving us helpful suggestions of stops along the way. On top of all this, the Kickapoo is an amazing river to paddle. The sandstone cliffs are truly unique and beautiful and the river is phenomenal for beginners. It's quite a peaceful route with just a few little rapids to keep it exciting. My 10 year old (youngest) had no problem navigating it. Whether you're tubing with friends or paddling with kiddos/family, you'll find the river is full of friendly people who are out to enjoy one of WI's best kept secrets. Don't hesitate to book with KWA - they will continue to be our #1 choice for rentals. Thank you again for such an incredible day!

Enjoyed our adventure on the Kickapoo. Water was low but still tons of fun, however some extra trees would be good for shade. Or a cloud maker. We went on a day where there was no clouds and minimal wind, and hot. Started off interesting due to a leak in the kayak, but was able to exchange for new one not far into our trip. Customer service was great and Shaun called to see how we were and ensure new kayak was good. 10/10 recommend, will only choose Kickapoo Wild Adventures when we are in town.

We always rent from Shaun at Kickapoo Wild Adventures. He truly cares about his customers. We have seen him a couple of times in the water with a chainsaw cutting the downed trees away so the water is safe. They have canoes, kayaks and tubes with backs on them. You are on the water for a bit by yourselves before you get to the next ramp to get on the river. The water through this area is gorgeous. It is mostly shallow. You can see to the bottom. The scenery all the way down to bridge 4 is beautiful with all the rock formations, trees, shallow water and sandbars! We pack a lunch, put it in our cooler and stop at one of the many sandbars to have lunch and play in the water. We get out at bridge 4. We never have to wait very long after calling for a pick up. Verizon wireless does not get a signal on the river. I believe they have a sign posted at check in informing you of this. If you have verizon you will need to ask someone at your pickup location who has service to call for your pick up if no one in your group has service. I highly recommend Kickapoo Wild Adventures!!
