Young Dance Academy has always been an exceptional program, and it’s been amazing to see how much they continue to grow and elevate each year. As someone who danced there many years ago, I can confidently say the foundation was already strong, and they’ve only made it better. The training and technique instruction are excellent, and the staff truly care about helping dancers improve while building confidence and passion for dance. One thing I especially appreciate is their commitment to age-appropriate choreography, music, and costumes while still creating high-quality, entertaining performances. The programming is thoughtful, professional, and clearly centered around both strong dance education and a positive experience for the kids. Highly recommend Young Dance Academy to any family looking for a supportive and well-run dance program!

Here’s a review you can drop anywhere — Yelp, Google, studio site: **Adult Hip Hop with Rachel — 5 years and still hooked** I’ve been taking Rachel’s adult hip hop class for 5 years and it’s honestly the highlight of my week. Rachel is high energy from the second music starts and she’s an amazing choreographer. She breaks down combos so everyone can get them, but still keeps it challenging enough that you leave feeling like a dancer. The class vibe is unbeatable. It’s just really fun, zero judgment, and everyone genuinely gets along. We range in age and experience, but Rachel makes it feel like one crew. You’ll sweat, laugh, and nail moves you didn’t think you could. And the end of season recital? Amazing. She puts together routines that look and feel pro, and the whole show has this contagious energy. Friends and family are always blown away that it’s an adult class. If you’ve ever thought “I’m too old” or “I can’t dance,” this is the class that proves you wrong.

We absolutely adore YDA! It has been such a beautiful, full-circle experience to watch my daughters grow up in the same studio where I danced as a child. The teachers—Ms. Jenna, Ms. Janell, Ms. Lisa, and Ms. Emily—are all so wonderful and have created a nurturing space that my girls look forward to returning to year after year. It’s also a testament to the studio’s legacy that Sandy is still there sharing her talent; she was an incredible teacher for me, and she’s just as amazing for my kids. We couldn't ask for a better dance family!

Ms. Janell has taught our daughter to be more confident in herself and to bring attitude to each movement, which has brought new energy to her dances. She loves going to hip hop, and we couldn’t be more proud. We have loved everything at YDA and want to give a special shout-out to the admin and staff who manage so much and support the instructors and assistants so they can focus on teaching dance and life skills.

Both of my daughters have had such a wonderful experience in their tap class with Ms. Jenna. Over the course of the session, I’ve seen them both grow not only in their skills, but also in their confidence. Ms. Jenna creates a supportive and encouraging environment that really helps each student feel comfortable and motivated. It’s been amazing to watch my daughters come out of their shell. My oldest daughter has had a fantastic experience in her ballet class with Ms. Lori. She has grown so much as a dancer, improving her technique while also learning how to express herself more confidently through movement. It’s been wonderful to see her excitement for class each week and her pride in what she’s accomplishing. Ms. Lisa creates a positive, encouraging environment where students feel supported and inspired to do their best. Her teaching style helps build both skill and confidence, and it really shows in how much my daughter has improved. We’re so grateful for the impact this class has had on her development and love of dance.
