Hearty American fare and a Friday fish fry with lake views
Beautiful setting here by the lake. You get that awesome Wisconsin supper club experience. Make sure you book a reservation as this place is packed. Wonderful service by the staff here! Steak is excellent. Desserts were fabulous too! We had the creme brulee and truffles. Delicious!
Food was decent. Prices were fair. Fantastic atmosphere. They have a lovely outdoor area with a separate bar, music stage, and plenty of seating and bags boards. The house made onion rings, cheese curds, and spinach bacon salad were fantastic. The old fashioneds were good. The ice cream drinks are certainly meant to be shared. They are not that boozy. Definitely make a reservation regardless of the day of the week. We probably won't be back for dinner, but possibly back for drinks and apps.
This is one of my all time favorite supper clubs I've been to. i got the ribs and filet with twice bake patoe and soup every thing was absolutely 100% on point of perfection the flavors were incredible and mouth water perfect. my friend got the Norwood's Seafood Stuffed Salmon, absolutely beautiful presentation, fantastic flavor and it was the perfect portion. Our overall experience trying it for the first time was absolutely wonderful, Everyone working there was on top of there game, from the wait staff to the kids bussing the tables the flow of the employees was impressive. We will be back very soon, thank you
Norwood Pines Supper Club is classic in every way - from the complimentary relish tray brought before dinner to the classy ice cream drinks for dessert. Sarah (Sara?) took total care of all our needs. She was attentive, friendly, and informative. We never felt hurried or rushed. Hubby ordered the BBQ ribs and was quite pleased. I had one of the evening's "specials" - stuffed pork filet mignon. The taste was flavorful and the portion was large. We ordered the "flight" of the ice cream drinks for dessert. These were NOT "flight" size glasses but seemed full size! From left to right: Brandy Alexander, Edgar, Grasshopper & Pink Squirrel. They even gave us little containers to scoop up the the remnants so we could take back to our freezer. All in all, quite the enjoyable evening for this vacationing couple!
The food is good, but prepare to wait. We had a reservation and still waited 20 minutes to be seated and then sitting down, menu looking, ordering and food arriving, was at least another 30+ minutes. So about an hour after we arrived we ate. The food was very good, its a big and busy place, so expect lots of noise from every speaking. The staff was kind/nice despite how busy and chaotic their world is, they slowed down when making eye contact with you and smiled. Such was the case with our waitress Heather. She was absolutely lovely (Owner/manager reading this: give her an extra PTO day/raise). She was kind, offered AMAZING SUGGESTIONS wheb I asked for a full meal salad that was vegetarian (Caesar salad with grilled mushroom...DELICIOUS!). Also asked for a simple/quick mocktail and she offered a blackberry monitor which was to die for! YummO!! I also mentioned it was my husband's birthday and she offered cheesecake. It was the most decadent cheesecake I've ever had. Extra YUM! Final words: Despite the wait, I would go there again just for the service. Every single person I interacted with from checking in, ordering with Heather or asking the bar tender where the ladies room was located was fabulous 👌
