Schuster Mansion has become my family's yearly tradition. Yesterday was our fourth year having High Tea around the New Year and it did not disappoint. One of the owners; Laura Sue was full of hospitality and very informative. Giving us the history of the beautifully restored mansion, the family that built said mansion and the history of tea culture. The tea and food are homemade and delicious; I look forward to I sandwiched and scones with cream/jam it every year.
I look forward to having a tea for my birthday in spring to try their other tea menus. Such a couple hours to spend with family and friends!
Show moreMy husband and I went here for afternoon tea for my birthday. We had the most wonderful time! I loved picking out my own tea and choosing our own teacup. Laura Sue was so informative and knowledgeable about tea, tea etiquette, and a lot of history. We had so much fun talking with her. The food was so good! We enjoyed every bite and were pleasantly full afterwards. A lot of thought was clearly placed into each food item. I cannot wait to have tea here again.
Show moreWhat a lovely stay I had at this inn! There’s so much thought put into every room. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and was a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out perfectly fine — the bathroom was beautiful and everything was spotless.
The location is easy to reach and with convenient parking right by the inn. There’s also a lovely garden where you can sit and relax, and the breakfast… wow! So delicious — crepes, bacon, fresh fruit, all kinds of tea, and more. It felt like such a treat. I also loved that I could take tea up to my room.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, Laura Sue and Rick!
