Great appetizers and entrees, the flavors were on point. Good service. Only negative would be that I was charged $5 for regular water, I found that unusual.

Food was amazing, especially the appetizer. If you go at least get one. Wasn't disappointed with my duck rawang curry or any thing else my friends got. Excited to go back and try other menu items

My first and certainly not the last time at Wela! The food was wonderful and the service was even better. Ordered the sticky rice-stuffed chicken wings and charred broccolini- both were absolutely amazing. Could’ve easily put down multiple orders of each and walked out of there as pleased and happy. For main course, we ordered the duck breast rawang curry - beautiful plating and tasted amazing with the perfect amount of spice. Also ordered the chicken roulade sinhol curry which was a bit spicier than the duck but equally as good. Trying out each meat in the other curry is also a great way to try out the different yummy curries the chefs made. Shoutout to our server Eli who gave us all of these recommendations and provided us with 10/10 service throughout the whole night who also ended our night with his favorite sorbet (I forget which specific one but it was great). We were also fortunate enough to meet the owner, Neenee (I apologize if I spelled that wrong), who gave us a bit of a background on her story and the restaraunt and constantly made sure we were taken care of and having a good time. The location itself is super cute, prime spot on Broadway with a wonderful atmosphere inside. Overall, amazing experience and cannot wait to be back to try more of the menu!
