First timers here. Sarah B was our server and she was definitely amazing from start to end. Very attentive and professional. Food and drinks were great during happy hour. Perfect day outside to take your pup out with you. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for some chill patio time with your family and fur babies.
Usually the service and food are great- Ive came here many of times and got the Buffalo Chicken salad and the portions are great. Last night 6/4/2026 i called around 9:40 to place a order for TWO buffalo chicken salads- they notified me that the kitchen would be closing soon but they will still have it ready as long as i pick up before 10pm. I picked up per usual and got home and realized that the chicken tenders they gave me were extremely small and thin compared to the last FEW times i came. DRASTICALLY smaller. They looked like bacon strips they were so small and thin. For $33 i got basically only lettuce and some croutons. I called and spoke with the night person who was very uninterested in what i had to say nor did she care. She only offered me a $5 gift card. Im really disappointed because i love this place but the service and food i recieved last night were completely unnacceptable. I will attach the pictures of the salad i normally get when i come in which is full for the price and the second two pictures will be what i received for both of my salads last night 6/4
One of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I’ve had! The chicken was lightly pounded so it was overflowing on the brioche bun and the bread crumbs were extra crispy. I added toppings of cheddar and a fried egg which made it perfect! There are many more toppings so knock yourself out especially on Tuesdays as they have a special where all toppings are free! The host was very nice and went out of his way to accommodate us and our server was friendly, perfect and on point. We highly recommend especially if you’re like us visiting from out of town and want a nice meal.
While on our way to the Public Market we passed by The Wicked Hop and decided this was the place to eat. We had great food and great drinks, we were seated right away too! In the summer plan ahead, this place gets busy.
Visited on 3/31/26 for dinner. Wicked Hop has a cool atmosphere and they had great specials for a Tuesday night. The staff was excellent from start to finish. The hostess and our waitress were both great and everything came out quickly. No complaints there. That said, a few things missed the mark. First, the music. It was a strange mix of rap and pop. Most of it was not even well known, so it felt like someone was just playing their personal deep track playlist. It made the overall vibe feel off. Whoever was in charge of music that night, please... read the room. We came in around 6:30 PM and were seated upstairs, which was empty. At first I did not think much of it, but by the end of the meal it felt like a sign. Food wise, it was just okay. The cheese curds were disappointing for Wisconsin standards. There was too much breading, not enough cheese, and a lot of hollow coating. I ordered the chicken sandwich and added bacon and avocado with the Tuesday special. The chicken was super thin, so it was basically overcooked breading. The whole sandwich was kind of dry. The only thing that helped was a generous amount of mayo. My side Caesar salad was meh. My wife ordered the deluxe grilled cheese with tomato basil soup and that was awesome. Really good, and honestly I wish I had ordered it too. While the sandwich was great, I'm pretty sure the soup was just Pizza Hut's old school marinara sauce haha. Regardless, it still paired well. Overall, this is a place with a great location, and good service, but the food just didn't hit. Not horrible, but not a place we'd rush back to.
