Creative scratch-made sausage, beer, and cocktails
One of our favorite places to eat in Bay View. Hot Dogs and Sausages are great but the reason we keep coming back is the fried tofu appetizer. We haven't found anything like it elsewhere in the city. Prices have unfortunately increased recently, but there's very few places they haven't. Great flexibility for those with dietary restrictions with the ability to swap out meat free options on most menu items.
My husband used to be a regular here 10 years ago when he lived in WI… he brought me here on our trip back and it did not disappoint! The guy in the yellow hat (aka Bruno) was so attentive, personable and gave great recommendations on the menu. Highly recommend the ginger tofu!!
love this place, great food and the prices are fair, and everyone that works there is always nice. however I do want to say that I hate the new menu design. always recommended this to friends for vegetarian options but it's no longer clear what those are now. and you used to be able to choose which sausage you wanted for your hotdog, I don't get removing that. as someone that doesn't eat pork tho I'll also mention their beef dog is perfect no issues with item changes(we miss the sprouts but I figured they'll be back later!) but the layout, especially with the back drink list retaining the old design, is not as good as it was
Our group really liked everything we tried here! Arrived at 9:30pm on a Thursday and got the last table - good energy. Food came out fast and hot. The potato balls were excellent and the poutine was tasty - order extra gravy. The Sammartino was unexpectedly spicy, but good - crispy pepperoni was a nice touch. The Milwaukee style brat was great with the curds on top. The group also liked the Brewer and El Pambazo. Thought the prices were really reasonable, would definitely come back!
This was great place went for the first time and ordered a few items. It was a Monday so there were wings they were spicy savory and flavorful, mashed potato balls not a big fan the of the flavor, the Jamaican sausage didn’t care for the sweet jam that’s added but loved it was served over fries, and the steak house sausage the best thing ordered!! Ands order two draft cocktails!! The bartender was great and made great suggestions and knew the menu!!
