Love this rooftop bar! Awesome atmosphere, fantastic drinks---though a tad pricey---it's a great place to meet up with friends and/or coworkers. It's actually a great place for a date, too.

Super cool place... if you could ever get a server. Waited 30 minutes for a server and finally had to go wait in line at the bar. Easily the WORST service I have ever experienced in Milwaukee. Won't be back.

On our first trip to Milwaukee, this was our first stop after checking in to the Kimpton Journeyman. The cocktails were all wonderful, and the small plates we tried were all delicious (s’mores dessert, mac & cheese, and deviled eggs). Our servers were always attentive and top notch. Based on the locals we met, this is the place to be on a Friday night in Milwaukee.

Cool rooftop bar with an amazing view, excellent service, and craft cocktails. Bourbon selection is incredible, all the classics and some niche ones as well. Tequila selection is equally impressive.

On a recent short weekend trip to Milwaukee with my husband, we were staying at this Kimpton hotel and got to enjoy their wonderful rooftop bar, The Outsider. We were actually given two complementary drink beverages from the hotel staff for a reservation mixup which was appreciated and we took advantage of. It was a very cold Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of snow both on the ground and coming down. But the view could not be beat and the roaring fire definitely kept the covered patio space plenty warm. Our server was extremely kind and attentive. We had eaten a big lunch so we did not partake in any food but both of the cocktails we ordered were delicious. I ordered a tiramisu-inspired coffee cocktail while my husband ordered a pumpkin inspired old-fashioned. The drinks were strong and one was plenty to enjoy before an evening out.
