This old building was perfect. There is not many you'll find more suitable for the price. Rooms were clean and light. Very quiet. The people that worked there and the community outside was so helpful and kind. Parking can be a little tricky as there is not a parking lot. City street parking only. Which makes sense with the history of the building. Definitely will use again when Im attending events and shows in Milwaukee. ✌️

This place is a bit "rustic", but the room is very clean. Good location. You probably won't find anything better at this price.

Stayed at the National Avenue Hotel for a quick one-night trip to catch a ballgame, and honestly it was a great bargain. Nothing fancy — just simple, comfortable, and peaceful, which was exactly what I needed. The room was clean, quiet, and made for an easy relaxing stay after being out late at the game. Location is perfect, was able to ride my bike from/to the train station in less than 10 minutes, and the ballpark was a short easy ride along the Hank Aaron trail. The manager was extremely accommodating and genuinely helpful, which really stood out. If you’re looking for an affordable, no-frills place to stay in Milwaukee with good hospitality, I’d definitely recommend it.

Thank you Cheri for an amazing stay. Thank you for being so accomidatimg after delayed flights and arriving after midnight. Comfortable rooms and close to all the places i wanted to go during my short stay in Milwaukee.

Five stars for what it was rather than what it wasn't. This was a cheap place to spend a night while in town for Metalfest. I was in the room alone. There was a fridge, microwave, TV, and coffee maker and a private bathroom. All worked well. There are no other frills or off street parking here but the staff was great. The room and the facility in general were very clean. The bed was cheap and would only fit one comfortably but clean and comfortable and the room smelled nice. There was minimal noise in the area outside and inside from other rooms and halls. You get what what you pay for but for the price I was prepared to put my blinders on to some sights and smells and sounds I've experienced in other cheap rooms and those issues just weren't there. If I'm in town on my own again I'd definitely repeat my stay. Thank you!
