Stumbled upon this charming local vegan restaurant on a weekday in MKE. The woman working the counter is super sweet & brings your dishes out as they're made fresh to order. The Turkish coffee is smooth, rich espresso balanced with cardamom. The Gyro was a great portion of well-seasoned vegan kofte protien, fresh & roasted veggies, & creamy sauce all wrapped in airy flatbread. To finish, the Ganesha smoothie was a warmly spiced take on a Mango Lassi which was refreshing & not-too-sweet as a dessert to go. A great little shop for a healthy plant-based lunch in the heart of MKE!

Already can’t wait to go back ;) Incredibly fresh, delicious vegetarian/vegan cuisine run by 2 lovely people who obviously have a passion for what they do. Pretty darn diverse menu, including vegan sushi on Tuesdays that is incredibly delicious! I love their house made pita that shows up in their appetizers and wraps (made with lentils and rice flour). Highly suggest checking this place out ❤️❤️

The food here is amazing. It's, hands down, our favorite restaurant in the area. We get food here almost once a week. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, tho we particularly enjoy their specials, sushi tuesday, and their flatbreads. The owners are so kind. There are so many options on their menu too and it's vegan, largely (if not entirely) gluten free, and so flavorful. Genuinely such a great spot. We highly recommend it to both vegans and non-vegans!

Vegan restaurants get an automatic 5 star rating from me because I'm vegan and restaurants that have a menu where I can eat absolutely anything on them are rare. But the meal I had here is 5 stars regardless! I wanted to try everything on the menu, but I went with the Middle Eastern Platter to get the most I could get on one plate. Fantastic! It was so good I ate it all up with nothing left to take home, and I probably could have finished off a second platter if I'd gotten one, it was that good. I wish this place was in my neighborhood so I could come here again and again and often. But it's not, so I'll have to stop in whenever I'm on this side of town. My friend ordered $50 worth of food just for herself -- she had a salad, a golden milk drink, the baklava braid (which I sampled and it was delish!) and one or two other things. I am praying to all the gods out there that they stay in business for years and years!

Over my birthday I got to try temple goddess cafe! Have to say it was my first time giving it a try. The concept of shared kitchen space was new to me. I will say the tikka masala that I got was spot on! I love the flavor and the heat that came from it. The services was a bit slow, I didn’t mind that since the food was very good. The atmosphere was unique! I will say give TGC a try for high quality food!
