It’s been many years since I first stumbled in to a stone creek coffee shop (the long closed Madison location), but since then I’ve been a strong supporter ofStone Creek-especially for buying beans. Every time we come to Milwaukee we have to make a stop at the factory cafe-it’s got a warm and inviting environment, great selection of house made drinks (with a few nice options for food), and large display of bags of beans for sale. I appreciate that there are specialty roasts along with the standards from decaf all the way to dark roasts. This is a very rare thing and I’m glad they continue to do this. We also buy their coffee bean subscription (which has a standard bag and a rotating specialty blend), which is also great. Sadly they are closed right now for renovations, but I’m looking forward to the reopening when it’s done. We will be back! :) Photos pictured are from last weekend before they closed for the remodel.

Stone Creek Coffee is one of my favorite spots in Milwaukee, I frequent all locations. The week of 06/15/2026, I had a not so great experience not just once but twice. The first interaction, the Barista assumed I wanted ice coffee and I had to repeatedly tell her I wanted hot, she also ignored it when I asked for oat milk twice. If it weren't for me asking at pick up because the cup wasn't marked I would have drank whole milk, which is bad for me. Second interaction, I had no issues ordering, but when it came to pick up, my name was not called nor was I informed my coffee was ready, also my cup had no writing on it what so ever. So I can't even confirm that my coffee was made correctly. I understand that the work environment at a coffee shop can be hectic especially during a morning rush, but please work harder at listening to the customers and ensuring that we are getting the best service available. PS: I worked in a customer service field for over ten years so I understand the BS. DO BETTER.

Stone Creek Coffee in Milwaukee has been fantastic to work with. Emily was incredibly responsive and helpful when I reached out about ordering coffee in bulk for my gifting business. She made the process easy and ensured my order arrived right on time for a wedding planner’s client gifts. I have been checking out and reviewing lots of coffee shops in the Milwaukee area, and what I’m finding is that Stone Creek is becoming my favorite local chain. For context, I think a local chain has to have three or more locations. Their attention to the overall coffee shop experience really sets them above many other shops. This location has some great attributes. They have friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. They offer a wide variety of quality beverages and food items. And the design and feel of the dining areas are upscale yet casual. I came to this location Saturday around noon. There were plenty of people inside, settled into different areas. This is also the location for various training classes. It was a short line to get to the register. Got a super friendly greeting. Ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (little vanilla, little lavender) and a special scone flavor, Gingersnap. Got the latte in a ceramic cup, and the scone warmed and plated. It took a few minutes to get the drink and food, which means they took the time to properly steep the tea. The latte was very good, though next time I need to remind them to make it a bit hotter. The scone had great flavor and texture, with little bits of crystallized ginger. The atmosphere was relatively quiet. No loud conversations, and nobody playing videos for the whole room to hear. It’s a great spot to relax, catch up on work, or meet friends.

You can tell that as much thought and care went into crafting the ambiance and space as there was in crafting the coffee. I've never been in a coffee shop as warm, inviting and cozy as this. Immediately upon entering there is a wheelchair lift to make the space accessible for everyone. The scent from the wood burning fire and various coffees is absolutely heavenly. This is someplace you'd like to settle into for the morning. If you're just passing through and loved their coffee, you can get it shipped to your house from their website at a very reasonable price.
