Dawn is amazing and truly cares about her clients. My toddler likes to go to his speech and already showing great results. Every session she uses different techniques and toys to keep him engaged and motivated. She really gets to know her clients and finds the right approach to get the best results. Dawn is great to work with, very professional, knowledgeable and really good with kids. I would highly recommend Speech Specialists to anyone who is looking for speech therapy.
My 4 year old daughter had the best experience at Speech Specialists. She worked with Claire and we noticed a significant change in only a few months. My daughter always looked forward to Mondays with Claire :-) The whole experience was positive and the owner Dawn created a lovely, safe space for my daughter (and I) to feel extremely comfortable - enough for my daughter to be herself and never shy. We will hopefully return after the school year for summer sessions!
We LOVE Dawn. I had no experience with speech therapy before this and my 4.5 year old had some articulation issues. I was very nervous that it wouldn’t work. Dawn quickly and correctly identified the issues my son was having and got right to work. My son loves her and is excited for speech every week. One day, I’ll never forget, my son brought a pair of pretend binoculars that he made to speech. Dawn enthusiastically incorporated them into his therapy for that day and it made my son feel confident and important. She is funny, fun, and really knows her stuff and I’m glad we found her. She sends home fun work for us so we enjoy doing the extras at home too. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

Dawn is extremely professional and knowledgeable. She exudes warmth, kindness and patience. She makes the therapy sessions loads of fun. Our son always looks forward to seeing her.
Dawn at Speech Specialists is quite simply the best! Her patience, kindness, expertise, and knowledge guided my son to leaps and bounds of improvement. He looked forward to going to Speech with Miss Dawn more than anything! Every lesson for him was fun, and every lesson for me was informative. She guided us as parents to help him at home, and we are eternally grateful for her!
