School Sisters of St. Francis is a religious organization in Milwaukee. We are dedicated to teaching the Catholic faith and sharing the Good News, with sisters and women in formation doing so in villages and towns across Tanzania. Since its opening more than a century ago, St. Joseph Chapel in Milwaukee has served God. We welcome visitors for religious services, private devotion, tours, and concerts within this landmark. Our mission is to live the Good News of Jesus, witnessing to God's presence in the lives of people globally, especially those in need.

Attended High School there -- a great privilege -- beside the young women who wished to be Franciscan teaching and nursing nuns or missionaries to South America. World's best education -- exceptionally high standards and best of best teachers. Miss it.

Rich history of a time when the Sisters and the area were strong in the Catholic Faith. May Order return before it is too late. Worth a visit! Say hello to Sr.Imelda Marie now in her 90s!

There is a "Santa's Workshop" that we go to every year. Crafts, pictures with Santa, cookies. Very cheap, lots of fun. The cathedral is also very beautiful.
