NOT COMING BACK HERE AGAIN From Chicago driving Manor 45 minutes to this place to enjoy goOd food. Came here two years ago when the restaurant was fairly new for Father’s Day brunch, the food was amazing. We loved each and everything that we ordered that I And today we are back here after two years and the food is not even 1% close to what we had two years ago. The service was horrible given one brunch menu and we asked if they have a naan or any kind of bread, the server told us now and then we heard them serving naan, biryani and other things that were not on the menu and when we inquired, they said oh yeah, we have another menu which was not given to us and now this other menu is a full day menu. What are as a customer we supposed to know there are two menus. In the second menu, a menu had all the items that normally a person would order. Their chole Bature number one in the country. According to me today they were one of the worst Chole Bature i had. Anda curry was horrible. It was supposed to come with Maska bun but came with burnt Pav. Paneer tikka wrap was not great too. It was served in frozen parantha. Best if all - we asked multiple times and were told no substitutions can be made to any dish. DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK HERE AGAIN

Delicious food, great service. Group dinner of 8 where we ordered family style. The waiter did a great job of bringing out the food quickly and spread out so we could share. And the food was delicious. We tried a significant portion of the menu. All was good, but favorites of mine were the uttapam and the butter chicken.

Absolutely amazing Indian food with a modern / fusion touch. This would have been Michelin star if it was in NYC or LA. The food is really good, while it looks modern it tastes traditional. A must try! The soft shell crab, butter chicken, prawn curry, biryani, bao buns, fig naan and pomegranate raita were exceptional. Can’t wait to go back. Cheese dosa is unique and a favorite. The service is very friendly and quick. Reservations recommended.

DELICIOUS. Beautiful little spot just off the river with phenomenal food. The Lassi cocktail was not what I expected and blew my socks off. Highly recommend the paneer dish and the dal makhani, but am confident that everything on the menu is equally as good. Worth the price.

We finally made it to Saffron for dinner and it exceeded our expectations! Everything we had was delicious, the drinks were so fun, and our server was attentive and friendly. We tried a series of the small plates, with the chicken momo and the samosa platter being particular highlights. The momo chili sauce was delicious, I would have taken a carton of that to go! The samosa batter was light and fluffy and the cheese samosa was surprisingly tasty. We also had the shrimp tandoori, truffle mushroom, chicken tandoori bao, and the hashbrown chaat. For entrees we shared the butter chicken (absolutely recommend!!) and the Lamb curry. We got the truffle naan and the black garlic naan—which was a surprising hit! We will definitely be returning to Saffron soon!
