A lot of important work in preserving our city's greenspaces is going on here. The RRF staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I'd highly recommend volunteering, even if just for a couple hours, you'll gain a much greater appreciation for Milwaukee's rivers and the effort taking place to maintain these areas for everyone's enjoyment.

These people are working to protect a hidden gem in our city. The Milwaukee River Greenway is a small slice of nature right in the middle of the city that is so wonderful. Go to RRF and do some volunteering and get to know a little bit about conservation in our precious green space.

RRF is a local landtrust that wishes has helped to improve the land surrounding the building and even a stretch of land at the Milwaukee River Parkway. They remove invasive species while replacing them with natural species. They also have tours for anyone who wants to learn more about them.
