This is nowhere near a 4-star hotel. For some reason, our room was equipped with a very loud portable air conditioner that prevented my wife and I from getting any sleep at all. I asked the front desk for a later check-out time in hopes that we could potentially sleep even a little bit, but that request was denied. The curtains wouldn't close, allowing sunlight to come in, which also hindered our sleep. Our room was located right next to the housekeeping closet, and with workers constantly slamming the door while going in and out of that room, sleep was impossible. This hotel is also located in a sketchy part of town, which was unknown to us as we're not from the area. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Candice at the front desk is such a sweetheart! She was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel welcome. She has a light that radiates to everyone around her. The room itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I did appreciate the shuttle service but was also glad to have the bus stops nearby so I didn’t have to rely on my car to get to downtown. Milwaukee is a special place with some great people. 🙂

The front desk staff were always very welcoming and helpful. During a stressful time (when we didn't have power for a short time, due to a storm), they adjusted and made sure their guests could still have a complimentary breakfast. Using the shuttle, made our stay even better. No stress of finding parking or paying for it at Summerfest.

Almost don't want to let people know about this place. Been staying at the ambassador near yearly for metalfest. Have had some issues but the convenience was there. Couldn't get a double at ambassador so tried their sister property Ramada across the street. Rooms far nicer and newer. Nice beds. Modern setup. Bathroom and water pressure were perfect. Mini fridge to use and a microwave. Staff were terrific.

The hotel room was freshly updated and clean, and plenty of space. The reusable soap in the shower was empty and not restocked for the duration of our stay, despite notifying the front desk upon arrival. The area outside the hotel is not the safest, there were aggressive individuals chasing people down and begging. One individual harrassed us from the window as we had breakfast in the lobby. Otherwise, it was cheaper than the downtown area, and as a sister hotel to the Ambassador Hotel across the street, you have access to amenities there too. I probably would not stay again in this area again unless a cheaper rate was offered or the area directly around the hotels were secured better, maybe having security posted outside the entrances.
