This church has been the perfect fit for me and my husband in our late 20’s. The congregation is genuinely warm, welcoming, and has the “Jesus glow.” Pastor Jake leads the church on the right path and we so appreciate his guidance. You’ll meet amazing people if you attend!
This church has been phenomenal for me so far. I've been attending for roughly 6 months. The pastor is extremely passionate about the church's mission, and you can tell that the rest of the church members are the same. It's a "young" church in a sense that most of the attendees are under 30 years old if I had to guess. I'm excited to start volunteering soon so I can contribute and get to know the members more.
⛪️ MIX Church - Milwaukee🔔 🏡 LOCATION - They meet right outside of the university of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) in a GORGEOUS university building. It’s huge and has very comfortable seats. 🤝 HOSPITALITY - The people seem extremely nice but not one person tried to speak to my wife or I. We sat alone, arrived alone and left alone. I’m sure they’re great, but as a new person, I’d love to have been approached at least once. 🎸 WORSHIP - Worship was authentic and full of talented college age people really bringing the ‘ship’ - contemporary Christian music worship style. (There was probably way too much reverb on their mics - the room is already so open, they don’t need synthetic verb - just a thought.) 📖 WORD - Preached directly from the word the whole sermon - along with story telling and humor!! ❤️ AUTHENTICITY - Very authentic and honest - all the way around! 🤔Overall Thoughts - 4 ⭐️’s would definitely go again :) It’s tough as first time guests to introduce yourself to people, this might be something they could work on!
This family is great!!! When I was attending it was still called “CornerStone Church.. They welcomed me and my kids, and All my family members that wanted to come! They treated us with love and hugs and always presented themselves as a reflection of our savior, which says a lot about a their church and their faith! I’m a single mother who was pregnant at the time and they did not discriminate but they helped me all through out my struggles and invited my family and I to different events and group studies. They really made us feel right at home and I adore that! Recently my family and I moved to Phoenix so I don’t see the church fam anymore but I do speak to a few of them when I can catch up. If your someone who just wants a true relationship with Jesus and I mean a true intimate bond with Jesus one that’s unbreakable... someone Who wants to feel welcome and loved for who they are and as they are. Someone who wants someone to meet them where they’re at and not judge, but walk along side and encourage, speak life and Just be with them through out their journey... This is the home for you....🙏❤️
Cornerstone Milwaukee started in the apartment building below me.It is nondenominational and evangelical. I became a member there after attending for 1 year and it has been 4 years now! I love the people, worship, and leadership. I am very thankful for how God has used this church in my life. They are truly a group of people 100% surrendered to God. Jesus is the focus. The worship is modern christian rock and hymns. They have a children ministry and child care during worship and the service. The church is a mix of college students, young families, old families, and all around people who just love Jesus. They originate from Oconamowac (the smiley face church) and Spring Green. They also have branched out and started Haitian and Romanian Ministries. If you are in either of those countries you can visit church there too. Free coffee and sometimes treats are provided as well.
