To begin with, I must be honest and say I don't like to spend a lot, so I always take advantage of the free days! 😁 However, it's definitely worth the admission fee on other days. There's so much to see! I get lost in some of the pieces, as well as the museum, in general...every time. Staff are friendly and happy to guide you in the right direction. I like how they change up their themes/exhibits but that they also have their pieces that are a regular part of the MAM. My favorite has always been Sunny #4 by Alex Katz. I remember the first time I saw it. I turned the corner and saw this huge painting of a dog. It was love at first sight...haha You see that one below, as well as some of my favorites from my last visit.

Beautiful museum. The beautiful building is free to access from the outside, and inside (just the lobby area, where it is the most beautiful). The museum exhibits are inside the square building with an entrance past the lobby. Any art lover will be wowed by the beautiful exhibition. There are special exhibits at different times throughout the year, and these are great times to visit. The cafe/restaurant downstairs is also beautiful, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Food and coffee is actually quite lovely as well! It's a small, and overlooked part of the experience. The store also has lots of cool stuff, though as a local Milwaukeean, I'm thinking a bit overpriced to get anything personally.

Great experience. The museum itself is a fantastic building with unique architecture and a great view of Lake Michigan. The layout allows for people to move pretty freely without getting cramped. We saw famous works and discovered new ones. Fantastic adventure.

Attended the Art in Bloom event, and it was delightful! A little crowded at times around the floral installations, but it was fine. I've wanted to go to this event for a few years, and it did not disappoint. There is a marketplace, delicious handheld food for purchase, and live music, as well. Definitely recommend! Visitors also get to vote on their favorite arrangement, and the results are posted each day.

This museum is beautifully put together, offering a nice mix of classic art and modern works 🎨✨. The layout feels open and peaceful, with plenty of space to enjoy each piece without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Everything is arranged in a way that lets the art truly stand out on its own. The collection has both strong visual appeal and a sense of history, which makes the visit even more interesting 🖼️📖. You can really feel the thought that went into selecting and presenting each work. It’s a great place to visit if you appreciate art, thoughtful design, and a calm, культурний atmosphere 🏛️😊. Perfect for spending a relaxing and inspiring few hours.
