Great , atmosphere and people, love the pastor teaching the word from the scriptures and the worship singers , powerful presence of the Holy Spirit

God is good, but Dont go to worship unless you want to lose your hearing. They know very well that they are blasting damaging levels bcs it's been brought up by many people but refuse to lower the volume, and it's so loud that you can't focus on worship while your chest thumps and your ears ring with pain from it.

I am so blessed to find Mercy Hill. I have been coming here for almost 2 years now and I have never felt more comfortable with a church like this one. All of the pastors are great along with the people that attend Mercy Hill.

⛪️ Mercy Hill Church - BayView 🔔 🏡 LOCATION - Big warehouse looking building that is extremely well decorated inside and very open and warm. The sanctuary has chairs in rows with a big stage and big screen up front. The foyer is bright and full of natural light and open, but the sanctuary is very black and dark - I wish the sanctuary reflected the same aesthetic. 🤝 HOSPITALITY - Staff and congregation was kind and hospitable. Especially the ones over at the coffee and bagel bar. 🎸 WORSHIP - Worship was very short. Probably less than 10 minutes total. They sang 2 songs which at the end had a very hard stop right at the end of the second song. The quality of the band was actually quite nice - singers and musicians were talented. My suggestions is run a track or pad that kills dead silence, or let the piano player stay on and playing through the scripture reading time. Another 2 minutes of prayer and worship after the song would have been extremely impactful. I found myself with hands raised pushing into the spirit when the music suddenly stopped and the band left the stage and everyone sat down. EDIT - They have way more worship at the end of the service. Very nice. 📖 WORD - Very long sermon - Fully Bible based. ❤️ AUTHENTICITY - I believe their intentions are so pure here. Like any church there are areas of improvement, but their hearts are spot on. 🤔Overall Thoughts - When we arrived we were greeted by several people and free coffee and free bagels and snacks. Everyone was smiling and engaged. Very good first impression experience - Service was produced well, but the timing could be less strict and more free flowing in my opinion. I would definitely return again.
