Nicole Hess who is the manager of the Long Beach branch went out of her way to help me to release my books from custom. I was warned by abother custom broker that bracause of late ISF filing I had to post $10,000.00 (ten thousand) cash bond. After Nicole reviews my file found out that the high bond does not apply to me. I recommend this company because of their excellent job they have done. I wish I could add more stars, way to go Nivole.

I live in Florida and bought a 20 foot sailboat in Norway. To get it here I called M.E.Dey and Co., a customs broker and freight forwarder. Around since 1907 I figured they know what they are doing. I spoke with Tracie Phillips several times and Ronald Vincent once and felt comfortable and relieved. Via email, I received info regularly on the boat's movement while in transit, location, and timing as to when the boat would be and when it would be delivered. This is an incredibly glitch and worry free shipping company. Takeaway- Go with the pros. Dr. Michael E. McNulty

We had a very good experience with M E Dey in shipping a container from China. We searched for good communication with many 3pl before settling on them. We even tried to go to Freigtos figuring an independent agent would work for us better, but it proved to not be the case. Our single point of contact at M E Dey was very knowledgeable and explained every step in the process. She then executed without any snags. Highly recommend.

Communication was excellent to start (IE to get the order). Once it shipped from China, forget it. No communication! How bad? It sat for 2+ weeks at a clearing house, after it passed customs and inspections. Just sat there. 2 + weeks. No communication! No return calls! Just lies that the product was in shipping! How bad? I had to rent a U-Hall drive to the clearing house pick up and then arrange 3rd party trucking to get the shipment to the final destination. Any response from ME DEY? NO, NONE, no apologies, no remorse. Just take it, too bad for you! Well you have to love competition! Use ANY other shipper!
