I have always wanted to visit this place and I am very happy that it finally happened. I started with a glass of wine at the bar while waiting to be seated. Happy hour is totally worth it! I have made reservations at the Chef’s table to celebrate a special occasion. Our server was really nice, sweet, and very helpful. She helped us to go over the menu and decide what we wanted to order. What you see in the pictures is a five-course meal (missing one picture because I forgot to take it before eating it lol). Everything was absolutely delicious. The food was well prepared and served. Our server explained the dishes to us. And we were given a lovely card signed by the chefs. Prices equaled the quality of their food, drinks, and service. I definitely recommend L&I.

This is the type of brunch that makes you forget you’re in Milwaukee, WI. From the delicious coffee beans by Stone Creek, to the delectable Strawberry Rhubarb danish from Matilda’s, and the quiche (not pictured) this meal was outstanding! The shakshuka I received was delicious, although I wish the bread would’ve been served on the side as it was soggy when I finally got to that part. Other than that preference, the staff were incredibly kind and the food and drinks were outstanding. We will definitely be back for brunch again!

We had an anniversary dinner here and could not have been more pleased. The food and service were top notch. Amazing flavors, great variety of food on the menu, and everything we had was 10/10! Would recommend the Chef’s Counter if you want to see true professionals at work. Just an amazing dining experience! 😊

10 out of 10, all around. Our server Christopher was great. He thoroughly explained the menu and seasonal options, was quick with service, and was very pleasant. Cocktails were well crafted. I had a French 75 and it was perfect. Subtle gin flavor, not overly sweet, and perfect touch of lemon. Exactly what a 75 should be. We all tried a different pasta for an appetizer. They are all exceptional. Each great for its own reasons, can’t go wrong with any of them. But for my entree I had the LAMB. Just look at the picture. Ordered medium rare, cooked to perfection, and the flavor was even better. Had I only ate that entree tonight, it would still warrant this five star review. Lastly, if you see the picture of my dessert and wonder if it tastes as good as it looks, it doesn’t. It’s better. And that’s saying a lot because the presentation was gorgeous. My only disappointment came from not having any more room for desserts because if that’s how they present a Torta, I would love to see the creativity they display in all of their desserts.

Above and beyond service, food, beverage, and atmosphere. I sat at the chefs counter and it was such a treat to watch all the young cooks do their thing at each station with care and precision. Morgan my server was such a delight. He was wonderful about his recommendations and conversation.
