Leon's is one of the Big Three Milwaukee-area frozen custard stands. The atmosphere is really cool...very retro, right down to the prices. Just know that there's no indoor seating (or bathrooms), so plan to eat in your car. We had hot dogs and Spanish hamburgers. They were okay. At $2.30 per hot dog and with burgers under $3, you're getting a great deal. Fries weren't offered, though, so that was a bit of a bummer. At the end of the day, Leon's is all about the frozen custard, so going for the whole meal experience was probably the wrong move on my end. The custard was very good. Creamy, with a lot of different sundae options. I went with the basic butter pecan because I like to try my custard "neat" the first time I have it. It's been around since 1942, it's a Milwaukee staple, and it's good. So expect a line every time you go. There's a reason for it!
