The is a really nice great space on the lake with a walking path and lots of benches. Good views back towards the city.

Milwaukee is for the dedicated walkers! I ate dinner in downtown and then wandered into the state park for a digestive stroll. Lake Michigan was glistening and all the delightful native flowers and prairie plants made for a spectacular dusk walk. Mind the geese poop tho!

While visiting downtown Milwaukee, we walked thru Lakeshore State Park and along the river walk to the Public Market. Great place to walk, bike, watch the boats, sip a coffee, and enjoy some of the best views of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee skyline. If you're visiting Milwaukee, during their (roughly) 2 week summer, don't overlook this place.🐾☕️🍺🚶

Nice walking area over the harbor. I found parking by the museum area. There is restroom access in the Discovery World without needing an entrance fee.

Surprising fact: it's a state park! This place is like Veterans Park, but more secluded. Hidden behind the Summerfest grounds, it stretches along the Lake Michigan shore and gets wider as it approaches the Discovery World building. I love the lighthouse and the view of the Hoan Bridge. Walking here reminds me how beautiful our city is.
