A must-visit destination for beer lovers. The massive beer hall feels warm and welcoming and full of character. Even for those who aren’t typically beer drinkers, there are plenty of approachable options, including sweeter and maltier styles. The cheese curds were also a highlight with great seasoning and a satisfying chew. A fun spot to enjoy good drinks and a lively atmosphere.
We had a great time on the brewery tour. Learned about SCIENCE! Entertaining and educational. Tour includes 4 samples for each person (about 2 full glasses worth). Great way to sample a variety and see what you like. I enjoyed 2 different IPAs, the amber ale and stout. All really good. For food we shared the pretzel and spicy cheese curds. Great to pair with their beer. Really cool location and history of the building and how they acquired it. Bathroom has some really neat/historical beer ads.
Lakefront Brewery feels lively from the moment you walk in. The dining room had groups of friends sharing food, families gathered around large tables, and visitors trying local specialties. I ordered the fish fry because it seemed impossible not to. The fish arrived with a crisp coating that stayed crunchy while the inside remained flaky and tender. I also ordered cheese curds and a bratwurst platter. The cheese curds were exactly what I hoped for, hot and stretchy with a crisp exterior. The bratwurst paired nicely with sauerkraut and a side of potato pancakes, creating a meal that felt distinctly Wisconsin without being overly heavy. The atmosphere ended up being just as memorable as the food. People were laughing, sharing plates, and clearly enjoying themselves. It felt less like a restaurant visit and more like a gathering place.
We LOVED this place. Great customer service. The beer selection was phenomenal. I would highly recommend doing a tour. The tour guide was super funny. With the tour we got 4 beer tokens. At the end of the tour we were able to trade in our wrist bands for two of their beer glasses. They brought us a pretzel with cheese and spicy mustard and probably some of the best fried cheese curds I've ever had.....for free! We highly recommend this place!

The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, making the tour both informative and fun. The brewery itself has such a great atmosphere. It was charming, lively, and full of character. Of course, the beer was amazing, and the variety they offer is impressive. I loved learning about their brewing process and the history behind Lakefront. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or just looking for a great time in Milwaukee, this brewery is a must-visit.
