Kaleidoscope Gardens is a community garden network in Milwaukee. We facilitate a constellation of over 100 active community gardens, enabling residents to activate unused neighborhood spaces for fresh produce and greenspace.
Our team collaborates with gardeners to provide legal and safe access to city-owned vacant land, alongside materials and labor for garden builds and maintenance. We also offer planning and training for health-based educational and recreational programming in the gardens.
As a land trust, we acquire land for community gardens and resident engagement, maintaining insurance for gardeners and streamlining the process for urban agriculture on city land.
