This is such a beautiful spot! The decor is gorgeous, the views of the river are amazing, and the whole atmosphere is so relaxing. The music wasn’t too loud, which made it easy to enjoy the conversation, and everyone was friendly. The service was a little slow, but nothing that would stop me from coming back. The drinks were so good! I ordered the pasta and added all 3 meats. The meat was seasoned really well and there was plenty of it, but I barely had any noodles or sauce. I think adding all 3 meats may have thrown off the balance of the dish. It was still good, I just wish there had been more pasta and sauce to go with all that delicious meat. Overall, I’d definitely recommend JoSa’ On the River. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great drinks, good food, and an awesome atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful downtown venue with valet parking available for a fee. Very nice views of the river if eating outside. It was a little too cool on this visit, but a warm summer night would be perfect for patio seating. The inside was elegant with different seating area options. Reservations recommended. The seats filled up quickly once we arrived for our 6:15 pm reservation. Our server, Donna, was friendly, very attentive and provided insight into popular menu items. The menu was nice, simple but offered enough choices. The food, though beautifully presented, was lacking. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers -Crab cakes 9/10, were delicious, they had more of a shredded crab texture than the chunky texture I'm used to but flavor was on point, remoulade was good -Jerk chicken egg rolls 5/10, were a little dry & skimpy, lacking flavor Main meals(-we liked that you have the option to switch out sides) -Lamb chops 10/10 with macaroni and cheese 5/10, creamy texture, nice cheese crust on top, couldn't really taste a cheese flavor, very bland, and broccolini 6/10 a little crunchy plus only 2.5 stalks provided, they could have spared some more veggies -Blackened salmon 9.5/10 with sticky rice 3/10 and asparagus 4/10. Salmon portion was on the small side but delicious and cooked perfectly and the sauce that was drizzled on it was delicious, I requested extra to try to help the sticky rice (which I didn't understand as a menu item because it's usually eaten with your hands and used to wrap around meat or veggies almost as a utensil, so...???). Either way, the rice had no flavor and was hard, even for sticky rice standards, (which I grew up eating thanks to my Laotian friends), I will call them asparagus shreds, not spears because they were so thin. You might be able to see them in the picture. Overall, we would give a second chance due to atmosphere and service even though food review was mixed, and try different entrees and sides and request extra veggies. For the cost of the meal, though, the second chance really needs to be outstanding for a third to happen. The bill was over $200 by the time the tip was added in, so be prepared.

I absolutely loved this place! From the moment I walked in, the experience was amazing. The atmosphere was great, the music was enjoyable, and the staff truly made the visit memorable. The host and servers were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The drinks were also fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 😊🍹✨

We came for their soft opening for dinner and loved it so much that we came back for brunch the next day. The food is divine and so are the drinks. For both visits we had the lamb chops, sweet chili salmon bites, Mac n cheese, crab cakes, crab Benedict, truffle fries, catfish and grits and the Dubai chocolate torte! Everything was delicious and made well. Compliments to the chef. The service was excellent and we really appreciate the accommodations made for us. We plan on be being regulars in supporting the growth of this beautiful place.
