Retro-style eatery with a patio and local ingredients
Stopped in on a road trip. This place was so cute! Service and food were great. We can’t wait to return. Tried the ham croissant, pork belly Benedict, breakfast casserole, lemon and blueberry pie, Milwaukee mud pie, the black bottom banana cream pie, and the vanilla iced coffee. We loved everything.
I came here with two of my friends on their way out of town. The star of the show is definitely the pies - I didn’t save enough room so I took mine to go (I got key lime and strawberry shortbread). I think the key lime could have been more limey but the crust was great. The strawberry shortbread was excellent and very berry forward, which I loved. Their vegetarian breakfast burrito was solid - I wish the potato was a little smaller because it was in large chunks, and it would have been crispier that way. I also would have preferred an unsmothered burrito since the portions were huge and well worth it for the price, but leftovers did not keep well since it was smothered. That one is 100% on me though. The mocktails were good, and I enjoyed my cherry limeade and thought it was tangy and refreshing. Overall, I would come back!
Honeypie is one of my favorite comfort food restaurants and always on my go to list when I have family in town. It is hard not to give it 5 stars overall because I love the environment so much. Their pies are for sure 5/5!
Service excellent ++ french onion great, biscuits n gravy with eggs were good. French toast good. Sandwich was OK. Cheese fries very cheesy n artichoke dip was good.
A friend from me here to celebrate my birthday and it was fabulous! They are known for their pies but u that enjoyed the entree. I took the pie home. The ambiance is casual cool clean chic. It's kind of artsy funky young and fresh but not in an obnoxious trying too hard way. The staff is very friendly. They make your each to grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair and hangb out like old friends. Then you remember, THEY are at work. Only YOU can hang out. 😂 The food is yummy and filling. I had brunch and enjoyed it so much that I didn't really want dessert. My friend kept insisting I take home pie because it was my birthday! She is a pie fan. The pie was good but the French toast was in divine! Next time, I'm just going to enjoy my breakfast. That was plenty for me! I even liked the coffee and it adjust never like anyone's coffee. Go! Talk to the staff. Enjoy yourself. Target home pie. Tip well. Repeat! This is a great spot. I hope they don't lose their edge in a few months and settle for "average"! Outstanding is so much better and that's what they are right now!
