This museum is so quiet and nestle in the most unique visual pockets of Marquette University it’s itself is stunning and it’s so pleasant to look around and see three decades of architectural concepts right beside it. The museum works very well and keeps open forums to view how exhibitions pieces are assigned. Nurtures curiosity and inner peace. Lovely staff. free public WiFi. I recommend registering for their free events on eventbrite as well

Beautiful! Free art museum on the Marquette University campus. There are several exhibit spaces inside that can easily be accomplished in an hour or so. Highly recommend.

Don't expect the $27a ticket museum of art. It's a small yet well curated collection that brings in various arts from all over. Appreciate what it is with its limitations yet also how well done the exhibits are presented.

Never really thought to go to this museum, but glad we did. It was fairly small, but had a lot of thought provoking and modern art pieces, and many from "popular" or famous artists. I think it would be great for a school field trip or someone just getting into the basics of art, as it has a lot of interactive elements and a good mix of pieces within its exhibits.

The Haggerty has many pieces I do not consider "art," but given it is a small university museum and not a large operation, I'm willing to overlook. Known for its religious Dali piece (pictured) and Marc Chagall's religious pieces, it's nice place to stop by when you're in the area. Also pictured "The Great Lakes Cycle" by Alexis Rosman. The curator, Lynne, is quite nice--willing to explain the pieces and walk you through the exhibition.
