I stayed in the Chesapeake Room for two nights at this Airbnb, which is very reasonably priced and close to downtown Milwaukee. Two bus lines can take you from the Airbnb to downtown in 25 minutes, and the bus stop is just a few minutes away. The neighborhood is fairly quiet at night and does not feel particularly dangerous. The Airbnb has a shoes-off policy, which helps keep it very clean. The common area is quite spotless, and the only area that could be improved is the communal bathroom, as the bin for used paper towels was almost full. The shower has plenty of hot water, and I appreciate that paper towels are provided. The bedroom has a queen-size bed that is comfortable to sleep on. There is a TV, but it does not have any channels; contrary to what the Airbnb website says, it does not have Netflix or other streaming services. However, I didn't mind because I was mainly there to rest at night. The room includes a closet and lots of empty space. If you don't mind sharing the bathroom with other guests, the bedroom itself feels similar to a 2-star motel. I was fortunate that the guests in other rooms were respectful; I didn't hear much noise from them, although the walls are definitely thin, so you can hear people chatting or talking on the phone. Overall, I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to stay near downtown Milwaukee on a budget.
