Second time in one week. Best steak tacos and birria tacos I’ve had in Milwaukee. Fresh ingredients and all home made. Service was great and efficient. Only place I’ll go for tacos now. If you have not tried them out yet get there soon to try.

Absolutely loved this place! The birria tacos were amazing & super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pozole was just as impressive, rich and full of flavor. The service was a 10/10—fast, friendly, and very welcoming. It’s a smaller spot, but it’s a great place to dine in and has a really nice vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I have never in my life seen chorizo this red or what seems to be under cooked and my wife got the Beria tacos and they didn’t even put onions on it. Also the picture is of the quesochorio witch is $12 any where else I’ve had this dish it is queso with some chorizo in the middle not a whole play of chorizo with some mozzarella sprinkled on top.

Nachos El Tlaxcalteca This plate consisted of corn tortilla chips, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and choice of meat. I chose carne asada. The chips to toppings ratio was balanced. The portion size was enough for 1 adult. The pricing was reasonable. Overall, I did not like this plate. The meat was dry and overcooked, the cheese sauce was bland and tasted burnt. I would not order these nachos again.

My son in law saw on TikTok the Machete and wanted to try it for his birthday. So being the MIL that I am we went today along with my son. SIL ordered the Machete and a burrito thinking he'd somehow eat both of them. He ate most of the burrito and maybe 1/4 of the Machete but said both were really good. My son ordered the Birria Pizza and only made it thru 2 slices, but he also said it was very good. I am not adventurous and ordered a taco dinner. It was supposed to be chicken but the boys told me it was steak. Either way it tasted fine. Waitress was nice but English wasn't really good so for me who speaks no Spanish I had a little trouble. Overall I think we'd add this place to our go to Mexican food destinations.
